ORTHOPAEDIC IMPLANTS MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION (OIMA) is the First & Largest Government registered association of licenced manufacturer of orthopaedic implants PAN India. Our members have representation Worldwide.

The objective of the trust, without restriction to caste, creed and religion will be under the provisions of the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 and the Societies Registration Act 1860 and are as under

The main aims and objects for which the Association is established are the advancements of overall welfare of the people and general and ORTHOPAEDIC manufacturers for the following purposes.

To hold scientific meetings separately or along with the association of manufacturers or such other associations or societies.
To encourage scientific research and experimental work in manufacturing of orthopaedic implants
To hold scientific discussions and read papers on orthopaedic and allied subjects.
To provide instructions and education for the advancement of orthopaedic implants manufacturers and among medical practitioners.
To watch and advise on legislation affecting orthopaedic implant manufacturers and allied subjects
To advise other associations / voluntary bodies and government agencies on matters affecting the interest and development of orthopaedic implant manufacturers’ standardization of instruments and implants.
To establish contact affiliations with other societies or associations and exchange scientific information and collaborate with them in progress of common interest.
To promote social and professional contacts amongst surgeons in India and abroad.
To hold properties, movable or immovable that may be necessary or advantageous for the aforesaid objects, to purchase sell or rent lease and to mortgage the same for the benefit of the association.
To receive donations and subscriptions and to hold the funds in the trust for the specific purpose or other purposes of the advancement of the orthopaedic implants manufacturers and allied branches.
To make rules, regulations and by laws of the association and to delete, change or add to the same as and when necessary conducive to the attainment of all or any of the objects of the association with a majority decision in the executive committee and if need be than later to be approved by AGM.
To maintain the honour and dignity and to uphold the interest of the OIMA members and to promote cooperation amongst the members thereof.
